Project Name: BPA recycling in chemical industry - Wanhua Chemistry

Project Overview: WE have won the bidding of the second 180t/h PC project for Wanhua Chemistry on January, 2017.

Technological advantage: we exclusively have the domestic technique of removing BPA with resin. The removal rate of BPA is above 99.5%, which could be sold as raw products after analyzing.

Working form: continuous ion exchange

Technical parameters:

Raw material: wastewater with BPA, 200ppmBPA

Export requirement: the BPA content < 1 ppm, and the BPA after filtering could be sold as industrial raw products.

Capacity: the first phase: 60 m3/h, the second phase: 180m3/h

Introduction of wastewater treatment with BPA:

As an organic compound, BPA is also known as the endocrine disruptor. BPA is an important organic chemical material, which is mainly used in producing PC, epoxy and many other high polymer materials. BPA could also be used in producing fine chemical products, like plasticizer, fire retardant, coating and so on. Many substances contain BPA, such as mineral water bottle, medical equipment and food packaging. Modern medical research thinks that a dose of BPA could threat health.

BPA is one of the most widely used chemical compound, which is mainly used in the production of PC, epoxy, polysulfone resin, polyphenylene oxide resin and unsaturated polyester resin. It is also used in producing fine chemical products, such as plasticizer, fire retardant, antioxidant, heat stabilizer, rubber antioxidant, pesticide and coating.

Operating procedure: adsorption, backwashing, analysis, rinse and reverse cleaning.
