Due to the high salt content in seawater, it can not be drunk directly, and now, there are two methods to desalt seawater, distillation and reverse osmosis. The first one is always used in large seawater desaliantion treatment and the place has rich thermal energy; the second one can be widely used because of its high salt rejection rate.
